Senior Exit Portfolio

This portfolio consists of tattoo designs that I made during my final semester of college for my senior exit class. The goal of this sustained project was to create a body of work that explores the style I want to tattoo in, make tattoos that interesting themes, and explore common tattoo imagery or subject matter.

The goal of the first series of works was to create matching tattoo designs. The designs depict the sun and moon tarot cards and a background smoke effect with sparkles. These two pieces are the largest of the series with the intention of being located in a prominent spot on the body.

The goal of the second project was to make tattoo designs commonly referred to as “lady faces” which are just portraits of women. The subjects I chose for this series are the Greek moirai, also known as the fates. They consist of Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos and all represent different stages of life.

The goal of the third series of drawings was to create a flash sheet that consisted of images along a similar theme as well as incorporating color into the works. The designs are themed around clowns and playful circus related imagery.
